Browse your products and add option sets.
Overview
The Products page in Podifai lists all your Shopify products. Products are synced in real time with your Shopify store, so any new products or changes you make in Shopify will automatically appear in Podifai.
Add Product Options
After you choose a product, Podifai gives you two ways to build its option set: start from a template and customize it, or create the option set from scratch.
Option 1: Use a Template
Templates are the fastest path when your product is close to a common setup, such as apparel, jewelry, home decor, or other visual personalization flows. Pick a template, attach it to the product, then edit the option labels, values, images, pricing, and live preview settings. For custom templates, choose Link when products should stay synced to the template, or Copy when the product should keep an independent copy. See Templates Overview.
Option 2: Create from Scratch
Create from scratch when you want full control over the option structure. Start with a blank editor, add the option types you need, then configure each one before saving.
- Go to the Products page in the Podifai sidebar.
- Find the product you want and click Add Options.
- Choose to create the option set from scratch.
- Add option types such as Image Swatch, Text Input, Image Upload, Dropdown, or Badge Group.
- Configure each option, then click Save.
Once saved, the product shows an Edit button instead of "Add Options", indicating it already has an option set attached.
Editing Existing Options
Click Edit next to any product that already has options. This opens the same editor where you can add, remove, or rearrange option types.
To use an option without Live Preview, open the product's option set, select the custom option, turn off the Customizer toggle in the right-side settings panel, then click Save. The option will still appear on the storefront and its value will still be saved with the order.

If a product no longer needs custom options, remove the option set from the product. This returns the product to its regular Shopify product page without Podifai options.

Next Step
After saving your options, enable the App Embed in your Shopify theme. This is the default setup that makes your options visible on the storefront. If you want exact placement control, you can turn off App Embed and add the Podifai App Block instead.
